This lovely “limonaia” was converted by the owner, in collaboration with the American arrchitect Ike Isenhour, into a contemporary gem. The property is just a short drive from the center of Florence and is located on one of the hillsides of the city, the Pian dei Giullari, close to Galileo’s historic villa. The once humble lemon house has been painstakingly restored and converted to a luxurious retreat, filled with harmony and extraordinary details, providing every convenience and comfort for ideal contemporary living. The gardens feature a delightful swimming pool with ample areas for relaxing outdoors including a large living area with fireplace, retractable screen for viewing films outdoors, a large exterior kitchen and bar area as well as fountains and excellent illumination for entertaining in the evenings. Surround sound system is provided throughout the exterior and interior spaces. The serene and muted colors of the travertine marble and other elements will provide guests with a soothing atmosphere after a day touring Tuscany cities and towns.
