This historic country property, dating back to the 1400's as a fortified house with
look-out tower, has an exemplary Tuscan rural architecture that was modified over
the centuries. It became a rural residence in the 1600's when owned by the Counts Vannicelli Casoni and was then completely restored in 1970 by the well known
Florentine architect, Count Niccolò Rucellai. Its honey colored stone facades
and tower overlook extensive gardens graced with olive trees, large cypresses, Mediterranean pines and a large swimming pool flanked by a state of the art Fitness Pavilion. The Villa is both exceptionally furnished and also very comfortable with fine antiques and fabrics. Guests will enjoy the numerous living rooms, air conditioned bedrooms, views upon the Florentine hillsides and luxurious atmosphere.
